Green Minds:
Some Y8s at our school are taking part in the Young Green Briton Challenge, and have created a service that helps schools set up projects for biodiversity.
No Mow May:
Lawn owners are encouraged not to mow their lawns in may and to let wild flowers grow as it benefits insects.
This time of year is when robins start to nest! Robins are opportune nesters - so will make a nest in places that aren't just tree branches. Hanging a teapot upside down in a hedge is a good way to provide nesting places for them. Click on the picture to find out how:
